The sun was shining, the wind was calm, and 14 of the coolest people in Chilliwack joined me for what will go down as the best season opener in Chilliwack, ever! Well, it may not have been the most skillful game we’ve ever played, but I was impressed by how quickly the rust was falling off. It was nice to welcome back many familiar faces, and great to meet many more new friends. In particular, I’d like to welcome the students from G.W. Graham Middle/Secondary who made it out last night. Unfortunately, their school season is a bust, but I’m glad we can help fill that void. And from what I saw last night, Ultimate is in good hands.
